Project Introduction: Under the guidance of carbon peak, carbon neutrality, and energy security goals, the "electric hydrogen system" formed by coupling green electricity and green hydrogen is regarded as an important direction for future energy development. The main building of the hydrogen production plant includes important supporting projects such as the hydrogen production workshop, hydrogen ball tanks, and compressor workshop. It is the first rock cavity hydrogen storage technology breakthrough project in China and the starting point of the integrated hydrogen energy production, storage, and utilization project in Daye City.
The hydrogen production and purification equipment in the workshop is the core of the entire process. From the beginning of the project design, the highest standards were followed, and domestically first-class hydrogen production equipment was introduced. The planned hydrogen production scale is 5400Nm3/h, and the annual hydrogen production capacity can reach 1800 tons.
Adopting advanced electrolysis technology for hydrogen production, water is decomposed into hydrogen and oxygen, and the collected hydrogen undergoes strict purification treatment, with a purity of over 99.999%, reaching the first-class level in China.
